I’ve realised that this is a metaphor for how I’ve often lived my life. Weary of the reactions of others, knowing that I can sometimes be too much.
And so I pair back that existence, as it sits under the protective facade of being on my best behaviour.
This bold piece is a “fuck that” to that feeling.
